Lewis Apter, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist at The Eye Institute of West Florida, serving patients in Largo, FL. Dr. Apter practices general ophthalmology.

Dr. Apter has been practicing ophthalmology for over 37 years and has an equal number of years as a Pinellas County resident. He joined The Eye Institute of West Florida in 2007.

Dr. Apter earned his medical degree from The University of Geneva in Switzerland before attending the University of Miami, School of Medicine Surgery Internship. He completed his ophthalmology residency at The Medical College of Georgia.
