Melinda L. Gruszka, O.D. is a board-certified optometrist at The Eye Institute of West Florida, serving patients in Largo, FL. Dr. Gruszka manages post-op patients and treats dry eye/ocular surface disease. She also specializes in the fitting of scleral contact lenses.
Dr. Gruzka settled in Florida after completing her optometry degree in 2009 and joined The Eye Institute of West Florida in 2014, where she works closely with Dr. Desai, who specializes in cornea.
She enjoys teaching and mentoring optometric students. She is an affiliated professor at Ferris State College of Optometry, University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry, and The Inter American University of Puerto Rico College of Optometry.
