Samuel A. Gruszka is an optometrist at The Eye Institute of West Florida, serving patients in Pinellas County. Dr. Gruszka specializes in glaucoma management and specialty contact lens fitting.
Dr. Gruszka was raised in Geneva, Illinois before attending the University of Missouri-Columbia for his bachelor’s degree in human biology. He earned his optometry degree in 2024 at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society and graduated cum laude. Dr. Gruszka received the UMSL Award for Clinical Excellence in the area of ocular disease during his numerous externships.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gruszka enjoys exercise, music, and spending time with family and his golden retriever, Molly.
